There are so many precious moments in our lives that would be but fleeting memories if it weren't for the beauty of being able to capture them and hold them forever through photography. I love being able to go back through photos and reliving those moments all over again.
I am a mom of two awesome kids, one girl and one boy (the variety pack). They definitely keep me sufficiently busy. Recently, they both headed off to school and I found myself with some time to act on a dream that's been nagging at me for a while now. I've always loved taking pictures and have wanted to share that love with others. A while back, I scrimped and saved to get a good camera so I could do more with my pictures and get the shots that I really wanted. I am blessed with an understanding and supportive husband who has tolerated my fetish with all things photo and who actually bought me my first lens to surprise me one Christmas (a friend had been nice enough to let me borrow one from her up till then). I've been working on my skills through taking classes and just good ol' trial and error. I'm excited to be able to be able to spend some more time to really focus on doing one of the things I love, photography. Thanks to everyone who has supported and encouraged me thus far in my crazy endeavors.
